Each year, we round up some of the best summer camp and program offerings here in the Greater Danbury area as well as some camps within other areas of Fairfield County and Western Connecticut. Nurture with Nature Farm Camp is a fun-filled outdoor camp experience at Abbotts Hill Farm and Rescue in Newtown. Sessions will include interacting with friendly farm animals, yoga, mindfulness, arts and crafts, and more! Educational opportunities include connecting with nature, learning about respectful animal interactions, animal & nature related arts & crafts, coping skills, friendship skills, emotional regulation skills, social problem solving, meditation, mindfulness, yoga and more. Camp runs Monday through Friday during select weeks in July and August. Join us!

Campers explore the Museum’s three-acre campus, learn in the galleries, and incorporate the world around them into their art. Founded by art collector and fashion designer Larry Aldrich in 1964, The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum is one of the oldest contemporary art museums in the United States. The Museum is one of the few independent, non-collecting institutions in the country and the only museum in Connecticut solely dedicated to the presentation of contemporary art. The Museum is located on Main Street in historic downtown Ridgefield, Connecticut an hour and a half north of New York City. The campus includes a two-acre Sculpture Garden and is walking distance from a Revolutionary War battlefield, and many restaurants and shops.
