The Anthologies is a week-long summer course that combines music history and studying song lyrics to inspire creative writing.
The Anthologies Volume I: Joni - Part 1 & 2
Each 2-hour gathering navigates the world of one of Joni Michell’s songs. Her soulful voice and the clarity in her poetry will guide you to produce your own profound metaphors, exploring universal themes, with an emphasis on rhythm and emotion. The class concludes with a Final Reading and reception.

The Anthologies Volume II: Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young - Part 1 & 2
Each 2-hour gathering navigates the artistry of a band known for their intricate vocal harmonies and pioneering folk-rock, composed of the singer-songwriters David Crosby, Stephen Stills, Graham Nash, and Neil Young, they were known as Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young (CSNY). The week concludes with a Final Reading and reception.
