Nurture with Nature Farm Camp is a fun-filled outdoor camp experience at Abbotts Hill Farm and Rescue in Newtown. Sessions will include interacting with friendly farm animals, yoga, mindfulness, arts and crafts, and more! Educational opportunities include connecting with nature, learning about respectful animal interactions, animal & nature related arts & crafts, coping skills, friendship skills, emotional regulation skills, social problem solving, meditation, mindfulness, yoga and more. Camp runs Monday through Friday during select weeks in July and August. Join us!

ACT of Connecticut brings Broadway caliber theater, executed by Broadway professionals, to the Ridgefield area including top rate contemporary productions, new works, and re-imagined revivals. The theater company produces four shows per year, with each show including Broadway professionals and Ridgefield’s professional actors and actresses. In addition to fully produced, main stage productions, the producers launch youth education classes, summer camps, workshops, and a conservatory program for high school students. 

Get on-stage and make music with Bach to Rock® Ridgefield! Our music school is the place where tomorrow’s singers, musicians, songwriters, and DJs hone their skills and talents. Bach to Rock music camps give kids the chance to unleash their inner rock star — even if they’ve never played an instrument before! We offer spring, winter, and summer music camps for kids and teens, including week-long, partial-week, half-day, and day camps. Kids have a blast learning to play hit songs and performing with other campers! In addition to summer music camps, we offer year-round programs for every age group, every skill level, and every musical genre. We have something for every budding musician: one-on-one lessons, music camps, band and glee club programs, and much more!

The Parks and Recreation Department provides Bethel residents the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of active and passive activities for pre-school age through senior citizens. Each summer, The Bethel Park and Recreation Department is offering a wide variety of summer programs for Bethel residents. Sports programs like baseball, basketball, tennis, track & field and lacrosse, theater with ELA Productions, STEM Enrichment programs, Jr. Chef cooking class and Summer Playground Camp. Brookfield Craft Center is dedicated to teaching traditional and contemporary craft skills and fostering the appreciation of fine craftsmanship. Our camps, classes and workshops are taught by nationally acclaimed, local, and visiting artists. The 2024 Summer Youth Program at the Brookfield Craft Center will offer inspired opportunities to explore creative projects in 8 unique studios; Forge, Modern Craft Digital Arts, Ceramics, Glass, Wood, Fiber, Jewelry and our River Room multi-media studio. Weekly half-day and full day programs will be offered.

The Danbury Music Centre, is 501(c)(3), non-profit organization located at 256 Danbury Main Street housed in a beautiful 19th-century building, formerly the public library. We provide classical community music experiences through our ensembles and events. Just Dance School of Performing arts has grown since 2004 to include 9 talented, professional dance instructors, who each bring their own expertise and individual flair to the studio; a group of talented artists who are dedicated to bringing the art of dance alive in all of their students. They are offering a five-week class session including classes for dancers ages 2.5 through adult, a summer intensive week for ages 10 and up, and weekly camps for children ages 4 to 10 years old. Music Together is a music and movement approach to early childhood music development for infant, toddler, preschool, and kindergarten children and their parents, teachers, and other primary caregivers.  The Music Together approach develops every child's birthright of basic music competence by encouraging the actual experiencing of music rather than the learning of concepts or information about music. The Newtown Community Center is a multi-generational hub that enhances our community by promoting social interaction, health and wellness, creative opportunities, and personal growth.  The Center includes a community recreational pool and flexible modular community rooms (available for rent). The Newtown Community Center hosts art classes and programs, family fun events, aquatic and other athletic programs, as well as various cultural and community building events. Rapadura Jiu Jitsu offers year-round programs and classes in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for ages 6-12 and 13-Adult as well as Kickboxing classes for ages 13-Adult.
