Nurture with Nature Farm Camp is a fun-filled outdoor camp experience at Abbotts Hill Farm and Rescue in Newtown. Sessions will include interacting with friendly farm animals, yoga, mindfulness, arts and crafts, and more! Educational opportunities include connecting with nature, learning about respectful animal interactions, animal & nature related arts & crafts, coping skills, friendship skills, emotional regulation skills, social problem solving, meditation, mindfulness, yoga and more. Camp runs Monday through Friday during select weeks in July and August. Join us!

Brookfield Craft Center is dedicated to teaching traditional and contemporary craft skills and fostering the appreciation of fine craftsmanship. Our camps, classes and workshops are taught by nationally acclaimed, local, and visiting artists. The 2025 Hands-On Summer Youth Program at the Brookfield Craft Center will offer inspired opportunities to explore creative projects in a variety of classes offered for ages 8-16 in themed studios to explore the joy of crafting: Forge, Modern Craft Studio, Ceramics Studio, Glass Studio, Woodturning Studio, Fiber Arts and Multi-Mediums. Weekly half-day and full day programs will be offered. 

Buck's Rock Camp is located in New Milford, CT and is really like no other arts sleepaway summer camp. We are a low-key, non-competitive haven where artists ranging in ages from 11 to 16 are free to choose their own creative and performing arts projects and activities. Camp Aldrich is a full-day, week-long arts experience for kids in grades 1 through 6 held at the Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum in Ridgefield. Campers explore the Museum’s three-acre campus, learn in the galleries, and incorporate the world around them into their art. Muse Squad is a non-profit creative writing program for tweens and teens. The club-like atmosphere is designed for age groups: 8-12 and 13+. There are multiple opportunities in each class to read your work aloud. 

This summer, join Muse Squad in New Milford and/or Ridgefield for a week-long summer writing program! The Anthologies is a separate series of handbooks that combines music history and studying song lyrics to inspire creative writing. During the week-long summer course, each 2-hour gathering navigates the world of one of Joni Michell’s songs (New Milford) or the artistry of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young (Ridgefield Park & Rec). The week concludes with a Final Reading and reception. Join us!

Join the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth this summer for rigorous, fresh, and fun in-person academic programs held at 10 locations in California, Maryland, New York, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island. CTY's three-week day and residential programs for advanced learners in grades 2-12 offer 70+ courses in math, science, writing, and the humanities, plus social activities like talent shows and dances. CTY challenges students and connects them with an engaged community of learners from around the world. Residential students in grades 5-12 experience learning and living on a college campus.
