The TheatreWorks Kids Programs offer extraordinary theatre experiences that educate, challenge, and inspire young people. Led by theatre professionals, TWKids encourages creativity, collaboration, and active imaginations in a fun and welcoming environment. Whether your kids grow up to be doctors, farmers, teachers, lawyers, or legislators, theatre provides them with the self-esteem, confidence, and inspiration they need to go out and embrace our amazing world.

Cast of 7 plus ensemble. In this hilarious and outlandish story, the lives of six teenagers from a Canadian chamber choir are cut short in a freak accident aboard a roller coaster. When they awake in limbo, a mechanical fortune teller invites each to tell a story to win a prize like no other — the chance to return to life. This popular musical is a funny, moving look at what makes a life well-lived! 4 performances Weekend of July 10, 11, & 12.
Summer Musical
SHREK THE MUSICAL, JR.
July 21st - August 10th, 2025 (3 weeks) Mon-Fri 9 AM-3 PM
Ages 7 - 17 | Tuition $600.00
Beauty is in the eye of the ogre in Shrek, Jr., based on the Oscar-win- ning DreamWorks Animation film and fantastic Broadway musical. It's a "big bright beautiful world" as everyone's favorite ogre, Shrek, leads a cast of fairytale misfits on an adventure to rescue a princess and find true acceptance. Part romance and part twisted fairytale; Shrek, Jr. is an irreverently fun show with a powerful message for the whole family.
4 performances the weekend of August 8, 9 &10.

My daughter participated in TW Kids in Fall/Winter 2018 as part of the Annie Jr. cast and then again during Winter 2023 with The Wizard of Oz and absolutely loved it! I can't recommend this program enough - the producer, musical director and program staff are great at what they do and are excellent with the kids. My daughter learned so much and looks forward to her next opportunity to study and perform with TW Kids!
