Happy Mother's Day!

Editor's Note

Being a full-time mother is one of the highest salaried jobs... since the payment is pure love. ~ Mildred B. Vermont

Isn't that the truth? I LOVE being a mom. The last 3 years of my life being a mom to Lily have been an absolute joy. Soon, that joy will multiply as we're expecting our second child at the end of August! As I feel those little precious kicks, I can't help but feel that Mother's Day
will be a little extra special for me this year. We plan to celebrate with an extended family BBQ and just spending quality time together doing fun things around town. What are your plans?

If you're looking for something to do with the kids, there are some fun events on the calendar:

If you're looking to do something extra special for yourself, why not purchase your ticket (or hint for your hubby to purchase one for you) to Womanologie, our Women's Night Out event at Capellaro's Grove June 8th? There will be guest speakers, raffle prizes, free massage chairs, free brow waxing, free passed hors d'oeuvres and more! Plus, lots of amazing vendors to shop from, too! What a great way to escape for a few hours and focus on just YOU!
And here's the icing on the cake - if you purchase tickets online between now and Mother's Day, May 13th, you will receive a $25 gift card from Lord & Taylor (while supplies last; limited to the first 100 purchasers)! Follow Womanologie on Facebook and Twitter for all the latest info!

Other event highlights this week include:

These are just a few of the events - be sure to check out our calendar for a complete listing as well as our Plan Ahead section for next weekend's activities!

Contest News!

Congratuations to Kaitlin S. from Ridgefield who won the Mother's Day Gift Basket from Danbury Supercuts!
