EDITOR'S NOTE: Weekend Event Highlights & More!

By Meghan Friedland, Editor/Publisher of Macaroni Kid Danbury-Bethel-Ridgefield August 25, 2016
The countdown is on! School starts in most area schools next week...are you ready? I'm somewhat there. My daughter's Alice in Wonderland themed 4th birthday party is this weekend so I've been so sidetracked with preparations...how does the saying go, "We're all mad here!"...ha! That about sums things up!

That said, I did manage to get some new clothes and shoes for my kids to take advantage of Tax-Free week and I also managed to get them both hair cuts at Gayle's Family Hair Studio in Bethel. Gayle always does an amazing job. It was the first salon visit for my little one so Gayle saved a locket of her hair in an envelope for me and presented her with a certificate. Such a sweet gesture. The girls were also lucky enough to get sweet braids before we left. Thanks Gayle - we'll be back! More info on Gayle's here

If you're in planning mode for registering the kids for after-school activities, be sure to browse our Annual Back-to-School Guide as it is packed with lots of ideas (and some discounts too!) to help you start to plan fun things for the kids this fall. Please mention Macaroni Kid when registering!
