PET ADOPTION CORNER: Meet Brooklyn

From Bully Breed Rescue

By Cari-ann Tyszka, Contributing Writer December 3, 2015

Brooklyn has put in a special request. While he loves hanging out at his foster home, he'd really love it if you could share him on Social Media with all your friends so he could find his forever home before the New Year. He's available for adoption through Bully Breed Rescue, anywhere within New England. Applications can be found at www.bbrinc.org - Adoption application, references, and home visit required.

Besides being gorgeous, this 4.5 yr. old lovebug hasn't met a person he hasn't charmed and he’s also famous! Recently featured in Fairfield Magazine as New England’s most eligible bachelor, he promises to snuggle his new family to sleep every night, while keeping watch and sounding the alarm if those brazen little chipmunks and squirrels get too close to your house during the day. He's a great hiker and swimmer, so if that's your thing, he's game. He'd also be perfectly content to just play a game of fetch and then be your couch potato. What he wants most is to just be with his people.

He is house trained, crate trained, walks beautifully on leash and knows his basic obedience. While he's near next to perfect, he will need a home without cats or other small furry pets - oh so fun to chase for sweet Brookie. Brooklyn likes other dogs; however, can be a little pushy for some in his off lease play so would be best suited for a home as the only dog or with an easy going large breed female that loves to play.
