St. Patrick's Day is just around the corner so we've rounded up a list of regional parades, local events and at-home activities to celebrate all things Irish! ☘️REGIONAL PARADES☘️


☘️ Greater Hartford St. Patrick's Day Parade (Saturday, 3/9, 11:00AM)
The parade begins at Capitol Avenue by the State Capitol, takes a left on Main Street, a left on Asylum, a left on Ford Street, and then ends by the Memorial Arch. If you can not make it downtown, the parade will be broadcast live on CW 20 (beginning at 11:30a.m.)

☘️ St. Patrick's Day Parade New Fairfield (Saturday, 3/9, 10:00AM)
The Parade will begin after the 9:00 a.m. Mass at St. Edward's Church, at approximately 10:00 a.m and go down Brush Hill Road toward Town Hall.

☘️ Greater New Haven St. Patrick's Day Parade (Sunday, 3/10, 1:30PM)
The largest, single-day spectator event in the State of Connecticut. Parade begins on Chapel Street at Sherman Avenue, and continues on Chapel Street toward the Green. The route turns left onto Church Street, down to Elm Street, and disburses by Orange Street.

☘️ 27th Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade - Danbury (Sunday, 3/24, 2PM)
Parade steps off at St. Peter Church, Main St., Danbury, turns left on to West St. continues on Lake Ave., and ends at the Danbury Irish Club, 6 Lake Ave. with live music, dance, food & refreshments! 

☘️LOCAL EVENTS☘️

☘️ St. Patrick's Day Cupcake Workshop @ Stew Leonards (Thurs, 3/14)
Children will make and decorate four holiday themed cupcakes. Pizza will be served. Ages 2-5. $20+fees; Registration required.

🍀 Leprechaun Trap Painting & Pizza Event @ The Giggling Pig (Thurs, 3/14)
Build a leprechaun trap! Ages 4-20; $30; register online

☘️ St. Patrick's Day Party @ Newtown Parks & Recreation (Friday, 3/15)
DJ Dance Party, games, pizza and snacks for grades 5-6; $12 per child. Registration required.

🍀 Bethel Irish Flag Raising (Saturday, 3/16)
Pt. Barnum Square at 9AM followed by a 2nd raising at the Municipal Center, followed by light refreshments.

🍀 St. Patrick's Day Party @ Greater Danbury Irish Cultural Center (Saturday 3/16 and Sunday 3/17) 10AM-10PM
Live music, Irish Dancing, delicious Irish food and drink specialties

🍀 Celebrate St. Patrick's Day @ Stepping Stones Museum for Children (Saturday, 3/16)
Art and creative stations, explore plants and animals from Ireland, and follow along a leprechaun scavenger hunt plus several other fun themed activities throughout the day!
Free with general admission.
