Join us for an exciting afternoon on the farm amidst the beautiful fall foliage.
This fantastic family event will include:
- Historical demonstrations such as broom making and fleece spinning
- Livestock encounters– sheep shearing, cow judging, visits with our calves, and lessons about our fascinating honeybees
- Harvest crafts: grapevine wreaths, pumpkin decorating, rolling beeswax candles – and so much more!
- Science and Nature Fun: gaze through solar-filtered telescopes and watch the partial eclipse through safety glasses, learn how our weather station operates, visit our native American encampment, and learn about our Wetland Renovation Project!.
- PLUS - Master falconer Brian Bradley from Skyhunters in Flight returns with his spectacular falcons, hawks, & owls to demonstrate their glorious adaptations and hunting skills as they soar and dive over the pastures from 2:30 – 3:30 p.m. (Rain Date: Sunday 2 – 3 p.m.)
