Nurture with Nature Farm Camp is a fun-filled outdoor camp experience at Abbotts Hill Farm and Rescue in Newtown. Sessions will include interacting with friendly farm animals, yoga, mindfulness, arts and crafts, and more! Educational opportunities include connecting with nature, learning about respectful animal interactions, animal & nature related arts & crafts, coping skills, friendship skills, emotional regulation skills, social problem solving, meditation, mindfulness, yoga and more. Camp for 18 months-11 years old runs Monday through Friday during select weeks in July and August. And Lil Farmers & Me Parent/Child Classes for ages 18 months through 4 years old runs on select Saturdays and weekdays all summer long! Join us!

Nestled along the Pootatuck River (inside Rocky Glen State Park in Sandy Hook/Newtown) in a newly expanded space of 3,200 square feet, Affinity Esports is paving the way to healthier gaming experiences by providing a safe community meeting space for kids and teens to play games and interact with their peers all while learning technology and problem-solving skills. Along with two additional studios in Wilton and Milford, kids and teens can enjoy a space that features gaming PCS, streaming setups, big screen TVs, whiteboards, and Nintendo Switches!

Buck's Rock Camp is located in New Milford, CT and is really like no other arts sleepaway summer camp. We are a low-key, non-competitive haven where artists ranging in ages from 11 to 16 are free to choose their own creative and performing arts projects and activities. Camp Aldrich is a full-day, week-long arts experience for kids in grades 1 through 6 held at the Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum in Ridgefield. Campers explore the Museum’s three-acre campus, learn in the galleries, and incorporate the world around them into their art. Each week, campers are guided through art-making workshops and activities led by a seasoned classroom educator and our dedicated team of camp counselors.  Join us at Camp Aldrich this July! 

Camp Fernwood is an all-girls residential summer camp located in Poland, Maine for campers ages 7 to 15. Founded in 1921, Camp Fernwood is rooted in the four principles of living simply, enjoying the beauty and wonder of natural surroundings, nurturing tolerance and unselfishness, and developing loving, lifelong friendships.

Multiple Locations

We have several camp options for children ages K-8 for Summer 2023! From music, theater and art to forensic science and outdoor exploring, there is truly something for everyone! SMART Camp cultivates a child's inner artist by encouraging imagination, creativity, and exploration through various art programs. Art not only awakes the inner artist, but allows a child to practice self-expression through movement, music, painting, and more. Kids in our Forensic Science Jr. Detective camp will analyze “crime scenes,” examine fingerprints, study handwriting forgeries, take footwear impressions and type simulated blood samples, all in a week! In Outdoor Explorers camp, campers will meet and handle live animals, explore woodlands, streams, and wetlands, play, observe, build, and create in the natural world. And in Summer Splash Acacemy, your child will wrap up their academic support session with an afternoon filled with enrichment and aquatic activities, at the Newtown Community Center! 

The Summer Day Camp through Newtown Parks and Recreation offers daily activities designed to enhance each camper’s competence, connections, character, confidence and in the long term, their individual contribution to the community. Camp provides challenging activities in both small and large group settings through activities such as swimming, sports and other traditional outdoor camp activities. Campers will have experiences connecting them to the natural environment of Newtown parks. Newtown Parks and Recreation’s Summer Day Camps provide the opportunity for your child to feel safe, run, sing, laugh and grow. Safety Town Camp is a positive youth development program from Newtown Youth & Family Services. Safety Town is a one-week interactive safety education camp developed to teach rising kindergartners and first graders important life-saving skills and safety knowledge. There are two programs separated by age group: Safety Town for children entering Kindergarten and Safety Town II for children entering First or Second grade. Runs on select weeks in July and August. The Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth offers rigorous, fun, three-week summer day and residential programs at 11 U.S. locations. CTY has 70+ courses in math, science, writing, and the humanities, plus activities like talent shows and dances. Year-round online courses are also enrolling.
