The Newtown Esports Studio is nestled along the Pootatuck River (inside Rocky Glen State Park). With 20+ Omen Gaming PCs, 280Hz TUF Gaming Monitors, and HyperX Peripherals, it’s a perfect, unsuspecting location for balanced esports success. The space features two gaming rooms that include streaming setups, big screen TVs, whiteboards, and Nintendo Switches. Classes are run out of this space, along with open studio hours. Full space rentals are available for partners with special needs.
FALL 2023
Through our recreational programs, your children are introduced to the world of esports, full of new and emerging career paths, experiential learning, and highly engaging social activities. Each of these programs has been structured to reinforce critical life skills, such as teamwork, communication, and problem solving. Through their time with us, we will guide your children to build healthy habits and harness their passion with an extreme commitment to balancing wellness, education, mentality, competition, and socialization. Esports have been linked to powerful outcomes, such as improved social and emotional skills, problem solving, future career viability, and academic performance.
- Dates: Session I runs 9/18- 10/28; Session II runs 11/6 - 12/23

- Choose from classes in: Gaming Foundations, Beginner and Intermediate Game Creation, Modding and Coding as well as Beginner and Intermediate Content Creation and Streaming.

Affinity Esports Birthday Parties
The team at Affinity Esports will ensure your birthday girl/boy will have a stellar day alongside their closest friends while making it as easy as possible on the host! They will open the main room, which plays host to 15 computers, a big screen TV, and a Nintendo Switch. Party guests will have access to games that have been rating approved by the hosting family including titles like Super Smash Bros, Knockout City, Mario Kart, Minecraft, and many others (when approved, the party can have access to T for Teen titles such as Fortnite, APEX Legends, and Valorant). Decorations/balloons, pizza, a customized cake, and refreshments will also be provided for the kids to enjoy!
Parties are generally offered on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00am - 1:00pm however if the space is available, the team will do their best to accommodate. Parties are designed for up to 10 kids however they can accommodate up to 20 if needed at an additional cost. The cost is $500+tax with a 50% deposit to secure the date and the final 50% on the day of the party.
