The Ridgefield Playhouse is a 500 seat nonprofit performing arts center located in Ridgefield Connecticut. It offers a wide range of entertainment, bringing in world class performers and comedians as well as children’s shows, movies and films. Birthday parties, or parties of any kind, can be purchased in conjunction with any of our Children’s Series live events (with tickets to shows such as Cinderella, Beauty and the Best, Jack and the Beanstalk and more) and include tickets and often a meet and greet with the performers, movies that are current or you can bring in your own DVD for a private screening of your child’s favorite film to see on the big screen!
The Ridgefield Playhouse is a not for profit 501 (c)(3) whose mission is to present a variety of performing arts to the community and the surrounding area that they can enjoy and experience at a varied price point. The Playhouse presents national and local acts and is the cultural hub for the town of Ridgefield. After many years of planning, fundraising, and building, the dream of restoring the Cass Gilbert Jr.-designed theater in Ridgefield became a reality with our December 2000 opening night performance by Jose Feliciano.
