STEP 1: Gather your gently used items (freshly laundered clothing, gear, toys, etc.)
STEP 2: Make an appointment to drop off your stuff
In order to stay safe and continue to have the ability to buy from the public, Once Upon a Child is taking same-day appointments through an online system called CALENDLY.
STEP 3: Prepare your items according to the NEW Selling Guidelines
Please review the NEW Covid Selling Guidelines below in order to stay safe, safe time and ensure that your drop off will be accepted. The guidelines below are current as of the time of publishing (11/20/20). You can view the most current guidelines when you click through to Calendly here while making your appointment.
Please bring your items that have been FRESHLY laundered within 24-36 hours in a PLASTIC BIN or basket with lids to ensure easy cleaning and ensure staff and customer safety.
1-NO BAGS or boxes will be accepted going forward, no exceptions!
2-No extra large bins allowed due to lifting limitations
3-We are limiting the amount of clothing per customer to TWO bins or baskets.
4-There is NO limit on baby gear, toys, bikes, outdoor stuff.
STEP 4: Drop off items at your selected appointment time & await text instructions to complete your transaction, SAME day.
After you drop off your items you will receive a text once your buy is complete. Head inside the store to the registers to complete your quote for either payment in cash or trade. Once Upon a Child asks that you return to the store the SAME day, by 6PM to complete your transaction. Call the store directly if you need assistance 203-791-2393.
STEP 5: Repeat as often as needed and enjoy the cash you've earned!
