This Weekend: Ann's Place Festival of Trees, November 21-23

By Meghan Friedland, Publisher/Editor, Macaroni KID Greater Danbury, CT November 7, 2025

Mark your calendars for one of Greater Danbury's most beloved family events: Ann's Place 23rd Annual Festival of Trees on Friday, November 21 through 23rd, 2025 at The Summit in Danbury (100 Reserve Road). I've been attending this event with my daughters (age 16 and 13) since they were just toddlers! It has always been a highlight of the season for us. We put on festive attire (the trees make a wonderful backdrop for holiday photos!), load up on raffle tickets to try to win some of our favorite trees, shop the boutique, enjoy baked goodies and take in the sounds of the holiday entertainment! And the best part is that the event helps to raise funds for Ann's Place -- an amazing local resource dedicated to help individuals and families in the community who are facing cancer. This is one event not to be missed!

The Summit will once again ransform into a magical winter wonderland featuring elegantly decorated trees, festive raffles, holiday shopping, children's crafts and live entertainment for the whole family.

Visitors will enjoy live music and cultural performances, all while exploring unique holiday gifts and magical displays created by local businesses, schools and community groups. Throughout the weekend, Ann's Place will celebrate the many traditions that make our local community special, featuring dancers and musicians representing cultures from around the world. On Saturday and Sunday, the stage will come alive with performances by renowned local talent, including Swing Set.

This year’s Festival of Trees offers holiday activities for all ages – from live entertainment and raffles, to shopping and children’s crafts. Special events include Sip, Stroll & Shop on Friday, November 21, from 4–7 pm, featuring holiday shopping, seasonal treats, and a complimentary drink. Adults 21+ are invited to Jingle & Mingle on Saturday, November 22, from 6:30 pm–10pm, with wine, beer, and spirits tastings, bites from local restaurants, live music and full access to the Festival.

“This is our biggest fundraiser of the year, and it is so inspiring to see thousands of people come out to support families facing cancer," said Shannon Cobb, Ann’s Place President & CEO. "This year is about honoring the hope and courage it takes to face each day with cancer."

All proceeds benefitAnn’s Place, providing counseling, support groups, and wellness programs to local families facing cancer.
