If your child is bright and curious but struggles with reading, writing, or difficulty focusing, you’re not alone. Many families face the same challenge, and there’s a local school that can help.
For over 40 years, The Southport School has supported students in grades 2–8 with language-based learning differences and ADHD. Its approach is grounded in neuroscience and focuses on helping every child reach their potential.
At The Southport School, students experience school the way it should be:
- 4:1 student-to-teacher ratio ensures individualized attention in small classes alongside peers with similar learning pathways.
- No pullouts or PPTs; literacy and learning strategies are embedded into every class, from math and science to art and social studies.
- Teachers highly trained in the latest neuroscience and research nurture belonging, curiosity, bravery, and the confidence to take academic risks.
- A welcoming community where students and their families feel belonging, are understood, and empowered.
Families are invited to learn more about The Southport School during the next Admissions Open House on Wednesday, October 8, 2025.
