Looking for something to keep the kids busy this Spring Break? If they love gaming, then consider the Spring Break Gamer's Retreat at Affinity Esports in Newtown. Affinity Esports provides a safe community meeting space for kids and teens to play games and interact with their peers all while learning technology and problem-solving skills. Their newly expanded studio space in Newtown features gaming PCS, streaming setups, big screen TVs, whiteboards, and Nintendo Switches and has attracted a large community of kids and young adults in the Greater Danbury area to explore their passion for gaming and Esports. For the Gamers Retreat, there are flexible scheduling options (morning, afternoon, and full-day sessions) so that busy families can plan their week during Spring Break. Campers will develop healthy gaming habits and social skills while diving into various game titles in a structured and engaging setting.

Newtown Spring ‘25 After-School Classes
Classes focus around 3 core competencies: game creation and coding, content creation and production, and competitive and gameplay. Using video games as a learning tool, your child will develop real-life lifes that go far beyond the screen. Spring After-School Classes begin on April 28th and run through June 2nd. Join the gaming community at Affinity Esports to celebration of their move into their expanded studio space on the first floor! Enjoy games, food, beverages, raffles and giveaways. The entry fee is $15 with an additional fee on-site for food. All proceeds will be donated to BluePath Service Dogs in honor of Autism Awareness Month. This is not a drop-off event - children must be accompanied by an adult.
