Affinity Esports prides itself on creating and fostering healthier gaming experiences by providing a safe community meeting space for kids and teens to play games and interact with their peers. And while they are having fun, they are also learning valuable and marketable life skills in technology, problem-solving, communication and teamwork.
AFTER-SCHOOL CLASSES
There are several classes being offered after school this Fall for all ages and all skill levels!
Session B Classes run from NOVEMBER 4 through DECEMBER 20
Game Level Creation and Design featuring Unity (Ages 7-17), Mondays 4:45-6:30pm
Students will have a blast building essential skills through hands-on projects and guided exploration. By mastering Unity's game engine fundamentals and crafting interactive experiences, they'll boost their creativity, problem-solving abilities, and critical thinking. Unity, a leading game development platform, allows students to bring their wildest ideas to life, giving them a real taste of what it's like to create their own games.
Game Creation and Coding (Ages 7-15), Tuesdays 4:45-6:30pm
In this class your child will problem-solve, be creative, think critically, and hone basic computer skills to achieve their game creation goals. They will start by learning code basics through Scratch, the world's largest coding community and visual coding language for children, to create their own games. They will also have the opportunity to practice coding through a variety of fun challenges and coding courses in Minecraft Education Edition and Roblox.
Content Creation and Video Editing (Ages 7-15), Wednesdays 4:45-6:30pm
Explore the exciting world of video editing with our comprehensive course designed specifically for young creatives aged 7 to 15. Whether you're passionate about gaming, storytelling, or just creating fun videos, this course will equip you with the foundational skills needed to bring your visions to life. Through interactive lessons, hands-on projects, and the latest editing software, students will explore the art and science of video editing, learning how to craft compelling stories from raw footage.
Minecraft and Roblox Explorers (Ages 7-15), Thursdays 4:45-6:30pm
Gamers will explore the collaborative worlds of Minecraft and Roblox, discovering the joy of creative expression and problem-solving. This unique program not only fosters digital creativity but also emphasizes the development of essential soft skills like communication, teamwork, and adaptability. Through engaging activities in both virtual realms, campers will form lasting friendships while our experienced coaches guide them in navigating the intricacies of Minecraft and Roblox.

Enjoy an exhilarating gaming experience, complete with an array of video games that cater to all interests and skill levels, alongside unlimited soft drinks and pizza to keep the fun fueled throughout the evening. This event is not just about gaming; it's an opportunity for kids to socialize, make new friends, and enjoy a night of supervised fun, giving parents the perfect chance to enjoy some well-deserved time for themselves, knowing their kids are safe and entertained. Runs 6pm-9pm for ages 7-15. Cost: $35 per child.

The team at Affinity Esports will ensure your birthday girl/boy will have a stellar day alongside their closest friends while making it as easy as possible on the host! They will open the main room, which plays host to 15 computers, a big screen TV, and a Nintendo Switch. Party guests will have access to games that have been rating approved by the hosting family including titles like Super Smash Bros, Knockout City, Mario Kart, Minecraft, and many others (when approved, the party can have access to T for Teen titles such as Fortnite, APEX Legends, and Valorant). Decorations/balloons, pizza, a customized cake, and refreshments will also be provided for the kids to enjoy!
Parties are generally offered on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00am - 1:00pm however if the space is available, the team will do their best to accommodate. Parties are designed for up to 10 kids however they can accommodate up to 20 if needed at an additional cost. The cost is $500+tax with a 50% deposit to secure the date and the final 50% on the day of the party.

Winter Break Gamer's Retreat (Dec. 23 - 31)
The Gamer's Retreat is designed exclusively for children aged 7-17 who are passionate and eager to explore the vast universe of gaming in a supportive, healthy, and fun environment. Understanding the needs of busy families, we arethrilled to offer flexible scheduling options with morning, afternoon, and full day camp sessions. These options provide parents withthe flexibility they need to stay effective during the holiday week while ensuring their young gamers can develop good gaminghabits, enhance their social skills through team play and cooperation, and embark on a journey of exploration across various gamegenres. Our camp is dedicated to creating a safe space that fosters a balanced approach to gaming and promotes a positive,enriching experience for all campers.
● December 23rd, 26th, 27th, 30th, and 31st from 9:00am-3:00pm. No Class: Dec 24th, 25th, 28th, 29th
● Half Day A.M/ Half Day P.M / Full Day options as well as single-day options by request
