Get in the Game with NEW Youth Sports Programs at the Regional YMCA

The Fall 2 Session for the NEW Youth Sports Program Begin October 28 - Register Today!

The Regional YMCA has lots of programs for the entire family this fall season including a new, expanded Youth Sports Program for all ages! This fall kids can join Soccer (ages 2-7), Teen Volleyball (grades 7-9), Basketball (Ages 2-7), Sports Spectacular (ages 4-7) which is intro to Soccer, Football, T-ball/Baseball, Field Hockey, Volleyball (ages 7-9) and Tae Kwon Do (All ages). Whether its gaining the confidence that comes with learning a new sport, building the positive relationships that lead to good sportsmanship and teamwork, or learning new skills, participating in sports at the Y is about building the whole athlete, inside and out.

BASKETBALL

Saturday Mornings; Greenknoll Gymnasium
Skills n' drills program -- getting to the basics of basketball and learning how to dribble, pass and shoot. This class will focus on coordination, skill building, good sportsmanship and having fun! 

INDOOR SPORTS SPECTACULAR 

Saturday Afternoons; Greenknoll Gymnasium 
This program is an introduction to the world of sports! This class will focus on skill building and sportsmanship while trying a new sport each week!

TAE KWON DO

Monday and Thursday Evening; Greenknoll Branch Studio
Students learn controlled self-defense techniques, kicks, punches, and more while advancing through belt ranks. Uniforms not required. 

TEEN VOLLEYBALL CLINIC

Saturday Mornings; Greenknoll Gymnasium
This clinic will focus on teaching the values of good sportsmanship, teamwork, goal setting and skill development. Teens will have the opportunity to learn the fundamental basics of volleyball, such as underhand serving, setting, hitting, and digging.

SPECIAL NEEDS SPORTS

Saturday Mornings, Greenknoll Gymnasium
Designed for participants with special needs, this program will strive to help young children improve gross motor skills, celebrate what your child CAN do, improve social and language skills, learn to play with purpose and develop skills for future participation in sports.
