Bark in the Park: In Memory of Tyler returns for its third year on Saturday, September 21st from 11am-4pm to Bennett Memorial Park (14 Shelter Rock Rd. in Bethel. The much-anticipated event, run by Happily Furever After Rescue, is a day of celebration as it commemorates the birthday of the founder's dog, Tyler.
Tyler tragically lost his battle to cancer in December 2021 and would have celebrated his 10th birthday this year on September 24th. Tyler is the inspiration behind why Happily Furever After Rescue was founded back in 2020 and Bark in the Park is a way to celebrate and honor his legacy while encouraging others to support animal welfare.
The third annual Bark in the Park offers activities for everyone to enjoy, furry friends included! The event is free to attend, however, donations are graciously accepted. All money raised during Bark in the Park will directly benefit Happily Furever After Rescue.
This family and pet-friendly event features adoptable dogs and cats, 25+ vendors, food trucks, live band plus lots of activities for the family such as arts & crafts, face painting, balloon twisting, lawn games, a henna artist, a caricature artist and hair feathers. For the pups -- a dog agility course, pet reiki, dog kissing booth, $5 nail trims, a photo station and complimentary a Starpups Puppoccino station.
So head on down to Bark in the Park on Saturday, September 21st for a fun, family day out in honor of Tyler!
