The Danbury Music Centre invites performers of all ages from area communities in Connecticut and New York to audition for the Nutcracker Ballet. This wonderful Danbury tradition has been presented by the Danbury Music Centre for over 50 years. This wonderful ballet attracts over 200 dancers, vocalists, and musicians. Join us!
Auditions are held in assigned timeslots based on age on either Friday, September 13th between 4pm-9pm OR on Saturday, September 14th between 10AM-7:30PM. Dancers should fill out an audition form online at http://danburymusiccentre.org/programs/nutcracker-ballet/ and attend an audition at Danbury High School. Danbury Nutcracker Performances are scheduled on Friday, December 13th at 7:30PM, Saturday, December 14th at 3PM, and Sunday, December 15th at 3PM, 2024 at Danbury High School. Each performance features the live accompaniment of Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker by the DanburySymphony Orchestra.
