You're a Rock Star! Get on-stage and make music with Bach to Rock® Ridgefield! This music school is the place where tomorrow’s singers, musicians, songwriters, and DJs hone their skills and talents. Bach to Rock offers programs for every age group, every skill level, and every musical genre. There is something for every budding musician: one-on-one lessons, music camps, band and glee club programs, and much more.
Students get to play the music they love, join forces with peers, and get a taste of the limelight! They learn core music skills and theory while building up the confidence to perform live. The Bach to Rock staff works with students to place them in bands and provide opportunities to perform live during showcases and other live events right here in our community. They take an approach to learning that’s super fun, social, and exciting.
Bach to Rock is staffed by local musicians, music producers, and music teachers who love music and help students unleash their own creativity and passion, too! Based in Ridgefield, Bach to Rock is a short drive away for students in Danbury, North Salem, and throughout Fairfield County.
SUMMER CAMPS 2024
Bach to Rock music camps give kids the chance to unleash their inner rock star — even if they’ve never played an instrument before! Camps are offered in Winter, Spring and Summer and for kids and teens, including week-long, partial-week, half-day, and day camps. Kids have a blast learning to play hit songs and performing with other campers!
Rock Band (Ages 7+) is taught by real musicians using the unique B2R method, which will have students playing full songs in no time!
In Rock City World Tour (PK-Grade 1) kids will explore and play music and instruments with guided movement activities and musically inspired story-telling experiences.
Glee Club (Ages 7+) will have your budding musician exploring fun vocal exercises, singing in harmony, and learning cool choreography while performing arrangements of popular songs. Get ready for a summer of music-making fun!
Record a Demo Camp (Ages 7+) This one-of-a-kind camp for up-and-coming bands will show you how to book gigs and navigate the local music scene. Best of all, your band will get to create your first press kit and record a studio mastered demo at Bach to Rock® studios!
Beat Refinery Camp (Ages 10+) Over the course of the camp, you’ll work with state-of-the-art equipment, learn from industry pros, and build a rock-solid foundation of DJing skills!
Recording Arts (Ages 10+) Step into the control room at Bach to Rock® studios and learn how to work with state-of-the-art recording equipment. Then, learn how to mix your tracks using Pro Tools — one of the industry’s most popular music production programs!
Beat Making (Ages 8+) is a music production camp that gives beginner DJs the chance to craft their own beats and introduces young musicians to the world of mixing, engineering, and producing.

- Dates: Runs weekly June 17 - August 23; Full day or half-day program.

In addition to summer camps, Bach to Rock (B2R) Ridgefield offers individual lessons both in person and online in guitar, bass, piano, voice, brass, woodwinds and strings. Bach to Rock also offers DJ lessons and music production instruction as well as a number of group classes and birthday parties.
