Hippity Hop, the Easter Bunny is on his way, ready to hop down the Bunny Trail on Sunday, March 24, 2024 at Tarrywile Park! This event is made possible through the support of Immanuel Lutheran School and the Savings Bank of Danbury. Join us for what has become a beloved Danbury family tradition for the last 6 years!
The Bunny Trail Egg Hunt is a pre-ticketed event. Due to limited parking, we require pre-registration.
Each pre-registered family will follow a festive, one-way trail collecting candy and toy-filled eggs left by the Easter Bunny at numbered stations. There will also be letters to find on signs throughout the trail which will spell out a special message from the Easter Bunny! At the end of the trail, families can each take a turn to meet the Bunny and pose for a photo! Each child will then be given a goody bag to enjoy at home along with the filled eggs they collected on their hunt!
About the Terrain - Dress Appropriately!
The Bunny Trail will be located all around the mansion grounds and will take approximately 10-15 minutes to walk through. While we will not be heading into any wooded areas, the path may involve some hilly spots and areas of uneven footing. Please wear appropriate foot attire and leave strollers in the car.
We can't wait for you to join us! Purchase your tickets online today! Due to limited parking, cars without a pre-registered ticket will be turned away. No walk-ups will be permitted. Upon arrival, cars will present their ticket to one of our volunteers and be directed to park in the upper lot just steps away from the entrance to The Bunny Trail.
Pre-Registration and Admission Cost
Reserve one 20-minute session of those available between 12pm-4pm on Sunday, March 24.
Admission cost is $15 per child which includes:
- Admittance to our festive Bunny Trail (children must be accompanied by at least one adult); Adults/Infants are free.
- Each child will collect approximately 15 eggs filled with candy or toys after going through numbered stations along the trail
- Private visit and photo opportunity with the Easter Bunny
- Take-home goody bag with a DIY holiday/spring themed craft kit, coloring pages, word search puzzle and other items from our sponsors!
- A portion of the proceeds from the event will be donated to Tarrywile Park

Safety Rules
All children must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older. Masks are optional. No picnicking allowed after the event. Families will be encouraged to promptly return to their cars and exit (vs. staying on the grounds) in order for us to free up parking spaces for the next session and to keep our event schedule running on time. If you wish to spend more time in the park or go for a hike afterward, you can exit the driveway, go back to Southern Blvd. and park in the lower lot.
*Should local/state health guidelines change or in the event of severe weather that would jeopardize the planned date, we reserve the right to choose whether to move to an alternate date or alter the format of this event to a drive-thru experience.
