The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum, located at 258 Main Street in Ridgefield is now enrolling for Camp Aldrich!
Camp Aldrich is a full-day, week-long arts experience with Museum educators and practicing artists. Each week, campers will be guided through art-making workshops and activities led by professional, practicing artists and our dedicated team of camp counselors. Weeks are themed and tailored to specific age groups for the ultimate creative learning environment, culminating into a celebration for family and friends on Friday evenings of the works that the campers have developed throughout the week.
Campers will explore the following exhibitions at The Aldrich this summer:
Prima Materia: The Periodic Table in Contemporary Art (February 6 to August 27, 2023)
This group exhibition features artists exploring 20 common elements from the periodic table, displaying how art and science come together.

Be sure to mention that you heard about Camp Aldrich in Macaroni KID!
Founded by art collector and fashion designer Larry Aldrich in 1964, The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum is one of the oldest contemporary art museums in the United States. The Museum is one of the few independent, non-collecting institutions in the country and the only museum in Connecticut solely dedicated to the presentation of contemporary art. The Museum is located on Main Street in historic downtown Ridgefield, Connecticut an hour and a half north of New York City. The campus includes a two-acre Sculpture Garden and is walking distance from a Revolutionary War battlefield, and many restaurants and shops. Learn more at https://thealdrich.org/.
