The Danbury Farmers' Market is back on the Danbury CityCenter Green, Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. through October 28th. Not only will we be featuring the best local produce, eggs, honey, jams, plants, flowers, and bread. But we are hosting lots of new vendors this year including seafood, coffee, brewery, artisans/craft, musical entertainment and much much more!

This year, to celebrate our Opening Day, Mayor Dean Esposito will ring the opening bell at 10:15 a.m. along with Congresswoman Jahanna Hayes, State Senator Julie Kushner, State Representative Bob Godfrey and a representative from the Fairfield Country’s Community Foundation.
Enjoy live music performance by Cobalt Blue Band, along with a special Family Fun Zone brought to you by Macaroni KID Greater Danbury with crafts, lawn games and balloon twisting (11am – 1pm). Music performances are sponsored by Union Savings Bank of Danbury. The veggie hunt for kids is back - with bubbles as the prize!

In its 14th year, the CityCenter Danbury Farmers’ Market, a project of the Danbury Farmers’ Market Community Collaborative with 35 community stakeholders, continues its nutrition-in-action program with the mission: “Better Food for Better Health.”
Many nutrition incentive programs are offered, with generous support from the Fairfield County’s Community Foundation, End Hunger Connecticut’s CT Fresh Match Program and many other local businesses and organizations.
- CT SNAP Match (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) formerly food stamps, accepted and matched at any dollar amount.
- Double Farmers Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) vouchers for seniors and the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) recipients
- Live market food/nutrition demos with market cash incentive. Limited spots so sign up early.
- Veterans (with vet ID) receive $10 in market coins per market.
- HARTransit free bus pass.

In addition to the Saturday market, a satellite market will be held monthly at the Danbury Senior Center 12:30 – 3:30 on the 3rd Wed of the month- 7/19, 8/16,9/20 & 10/18. We invite community organizations to share their information with the community at the market. Contact us to set up a date.
