Father's Day is coming up on Sunday, June 19th. Looking for something to complete your gift for Dad? Get him Danbury Westerners tickets so you can take him out to a ballgame this summer!
The Danbury Westerners are a collegiate summer baseball team based in Danbury. The team competes in the New England Collegiate Baseball League, a Major League Baseball supported, wooden bat summer league designed to help potential professional players reach their full potential. Since their founding in 1995, 260 former Westerners have played professional baseball with 25 reaching the major leagues. Former Westerners playing MLB in 2022 include New York Mets reliever Adam Ottavino, Washington Nationals starting pitcher Josiah Gray and Seattle Mariners DH Mike Ford.
The NECBL has 14 teams in the six New England states and plays a 44 game schedule (see below) in June and July. Westerner home games are played at Rogers Park in Danbury.
Tickets are just $5 and can be purchased at the game. Children under 15 are FREE.
