Summer Camp Spotlight: Semia Robotics in Ridgefield

If you are looking for STEAM-themed camp for your child this summer, then Semia is a great option to consider.  

At Semia, they believe STEAM education prepares students to become the leaders of tomorrow. Students engage in problem-solving, embrace collaboration, and participate in the creative process. These are the innovators, educators, designers, and builders of the 21st century. Below are the summer program options for 2022. 

Semia Robot Master Club
The Code Creator summer program will introduce students to the concept of computer programing and coding.  This introductory program will allow students to explore the world of robotics by programming fan, race cars, flood gate, robot arms, and other interesting projects. The Code Creators program will brings student creations to life and generates excitement, engagement, and curiosity.

Coding and World Olympiad Competition Summer Camp
Semia is also a partner for the World Robot Olympiad in Connecticut.  There is a more advanced coding summer camp both at Ridgefield Academy and at the Club that will provide children with opportunity to create, program, and refine their robots to solve the WRO challenges. The summer camp will begin with introduction to LEGO Spike Robotics and Scratch programming, by the end of the week students will compete to see which team can create the fastest and most reliable robots that can score the highest points.
