Calling all Kid Entrepreneurs! Does your child make and sell their own products to family and friends? Have an Etsy shop? Does he/she make and sell Artwork? Jewelry? Baked goods?
The Bethel Chamber of Commerce and Macaroni KID Greater Danbury invite local Kid Entrepreneurs to showcase their business products/services at the Discover Bethel Summer Shop & Stroll event on Saturday, July 17th, 2021 from 11am-4pm (rain date July 24th) downtown. This event provides a very special opportunity for kids with an entrepreneurial spirit to take their business/product idea and see it come to life during a fun, community-wide shopping event!
Parents are welcome to help their children register and prepare for the event however we also encourage parents to empower their kids to develop their ideas, strategies and products on their own and to run their booth/interact with their customers. Allowing the kids to do as much as they can on their own will ensure they get the most out of this exciting, unique learning experience.
All participating kid businesses will be invited to attend an optional Pre-Event Brainstorm with a few Bethel Business owners to answer questions and provide tips for a successful event experience.

Kid businesses will be expected to bring their own 6ft table, chair(s) and/or pop-up tent (no larger than 10x10 please).
There is no registration fee for kid businesses to participate however the Bethel Chamber of Commerce asks that a portion of your proceeds from the event be donated to a local charity. Please include a sign at your booth so that shoppers can see which charity you will be donating to.
