The 4th Annual Danbury Pet Expo is coming, Sunday, October 13th from 11am until 4pm at Danbury Town Park, 36 Hayestown Road in Danbury CT. (rain date 10/20/19)
The Danbury Pet Expo has all kinds of fun activities! Have your pet participate in a super fun Pet Costume Contest Parade with prizes from L.L Bean, The Hartz, Choice Pet and Stew Leonard's. Plus an Animal Blessing ceremony to give thanks and bless our companions in life. Also, watch the Danbury Police K-9 unit in action! There will free face painting and a variety of exhibitors, rescues, adoptions and more! A portion of the admission fees will go directly to local area animal rescues!
Bring your Pet and Enter the Pet Costume Contest!
(Please note that all pets must be on a fixed lead or in a carrier with proof of age-appropriate vaccinations, please).
Show off your pet dressed in their best costume for the super fun Pet Costume Contest! To enter, bring your pet to the Danbury Town Park between the hours of 11-2:30 PM. Pet Parade begins at 2:30! Each pet must wear a costume to be considered. Winners will be determined by audience applause as assessed by the title sponsor of the event. Prizes will be given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, plus Honorable Mentions!
Schedule:
1:45PM: Danbury Police Department K-9 Unit
2:30PM: Pet Costume Contest
3:15PM: Animal Blessing St. Francis Xavier Parish
EVENT ADMISSION: $5 with a portion of the admission fees to go directly to local area animal shelters.
