By Meghan Friedland, Publisher/Editor, Macaroni KID Greater Danbury, CT June 15, 2023

Once again, in celebration of Where's Waldo’s longevity and popularity, his American publisher, Candlewick Press, is teaming up with the American Booksellers Association and two hundred and fifty independent bookstores across the country (including Bethel's Byrds Books) for some hide-and-seek fun to encourage communities to patronize their local businesses. Throughout this July, Waldo will be hiding in 25 Bethel businesses, and it's your job to find him.

Here's how it works!

1) Pick up a Where's Waldo passport at any of the participating stores OR print it out from HERE.

2) Find Waldo hiding in each business and get a stamp on your passport. Get 10 stamps for a sticker and a coupon at Byrd's Books for $1.00 off a Where's Waldo book! Get 20 out of 25 stamps on the passport and receive a ticket to enter for the Grand Prize drawing (at the July 29th party).

3) If you want you can post a picture of the Waldo Hunter holding his/hers/theirs passport on the Where's Waldo Facebook Page for more fun.

4) Join the outdoor celebration on Saturday July 29th at 4:00pm. There will be goodie bags for the first 50 Waldo Hunters who attend.

5) FYI- All 25 business will donate to either the goodie bags OR to one of three grand prizes to be awarded!
