Demonstrators will be working in our blacksmithing, ceramics, fibers, fine metals/jewelry, woodturning, glass, and painting/drawing studios. The Brookfield Craft Center staff will be available to answer questions and take registrations for their upcoming youth and adult workshops and courses. Be sure to stop by the newly remodeled Gallery that will exhibiting the work of current faculty, and wander through the gift shop which is full of handcrafted items from artists across the country.

As part of the Open House event, Macaroni Kid readers are invited to attend a special drawing class from 2-3pm in the River Room. Space is limited to 10 guests, so an RSVP here is required. During the class kids (all ages welcome) will find out how easy it is to gain inspiration from common household objects to create other worldly vehicles! Illustrator and Teaching Artist Megan Jeffery will be on hand to provide guidance and a wide variety of objects whose form and function will be used alone &/or in conjunction with other objects as the catalyst for a drawing challenge: Design your own SPACE VEHICLE! Bring your IMAGINATION and be ready to DRAW! RSVP HERE.
