PET ADOPTION CORNER: Meet Doc

From PAWS

By Cari-ann Tyszka, Contributing Writer July 26, 2018
Doc is an 8 year old large Labrador Retriever who's looking for a family to love. He's a sweet and social guy who enjoys long walks in the rain, a trip to the lake or snuggle time with a friend. Doc walks well on leash and knows some basic commands. He's a medium energy guy who likes chewing on a stuffed toy, playtime in the backyard and just hang out and chill time. He's eligible for PAWS' Senior Pension Plan which means no adoption donation required and some lifelong medical follow up. Doc would like a loving and attentive family to spend his retirement years with. Please like and share Doc to help him find his way home♥ To adopt, visit www.pawsct.org.

PAWS (http://pawsct.org) is a nonprofit organization founded in 1962 by Westport, CT resident Betty Long. We are a true no-kill shelter, and will do whatever we can, however long it takes, to find suitable, loving homes for the animals in our care.

General Information
Finding the right pet for your home and the right home for every pet is a challenging goal. Every adoption requires a completed application and at least one visit to our shelter in Norwalk, CT, to meet with an adoption counselor. PLEASE NOTE: PAWS does not perform long-distance adoptions or ship pets to other parts of the country. You must be able to come into our facility to meet the pet you are interested in adopting. All adopters must be within a reasonable driving distance.
