MUDDY PUDDLES MESS FEST : A fun, family-focused celebration of kids being kids, in honor of those that can’t. Saturday, August 10, 2013: 11:00 – 4:00PM, Rain or Shine! Camp Kiwi, 825 Union Valley Rd, Carmel, NY 10512

Join us for a celebration of childhood as we forget about the stresses of everyday life and take some time out to let loose and get messy. The first annual Muddy Puddles “Mess Fest” honors Ty Louis Campbell, a young boy who lost his battle with brain cancer last year at the age of five. In remembrance of Ty we devote this day to letting out our inner child as we laugh, play and get messy! The event will include carnival games, zip lines, splatter paint, pie tosses, hay rides, musical performances, food fights, muddy puddle jumping and much more.

The Muddy Puddles “Mess Fest” is a family fun event, but more importantly, it is a fundraiser for childhood cancer research through the Ty Louis Campbell Foundation. Throughout Ty’s cancer treatment, he yearned for the day when he would be well enough to jump in muddy puddles again, a simple pleasure that his disease took away from him. In Ty’s honor let your children come and enjoy the simple pleasures of being a kid, for those who are no longer able to. For more information on this project, visit www.muddypuddlesproject.org
