Stony Hill Tree Lighting Ceremony, Bethel, Nov. 19

Kick off the holiday spirit of giving at the Stony Hill Tree Lighting Ceremony and Food Drive hosted by the Stony Hill 4 Corners on Saturday November 19th. Food drive all day. Tree lighting from 5:30 - 6:30 including visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus, a sing-along, Stony Hill Rockettes and refreshments.  More info

Bethel Annual Winterfest & Tree Lighting Ceremony, Nov. 25
Starting at 1PM, enjoy horse drawn carriage rides, complimentary soup from local restaurants, baking contest, carolers, specials at many of the area stores, s'mores around the fire pit and much more all leading up to the lighting of the tree by Santa Claus in P.T. Barnum Square at 6PM! More info

New Fairfield Holiday Light Parade & Tree Lighting, Nov. 26
The New Fairfield Parks & Recreation Department is holding its Annual Holiday Light Parade on Saturday, Nov. 26th. (rain date is Nov. 27th).Come enjoy New Fairfield's Holiday Lights with a whole day of activities! From 1-4pm, New Fairfield Parks & Recreation in conjunction with the New Fairfield Library presents Santa's Workshop and Gingerbread House. Children can visit with Santa, Mrs. Claus, and their elves at Santa's Workshop upstairs in the library. Crafts will be provided by the Friends of the Library.  More info.

Stew Leonard Danbury: 22nd Annual Tree Lighting, December 1
Join Santa and Rudolph at the Danbury store's 22nd Annual Christmas Tree Lighting celebration. Children will enjoy complimentary face painting, cookies, and hot cocoa. The festivities begin at 4:00 p.m. with the Long Hill Fire Department Trucks on display for all to marvel at while Santa's elves will be on hand for face painting. The Brookfield High School dance team, the Brookfield High School Band, and the Huckleberry Hill Elementary School chorus will also all perform.The countdown to the tree lighting begins at 5:00 pm, followed by continued caroling led by Stew Leonard's Wow the Cow, Daisy the Duck and Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. Santa and Rudolph will also be available for picture taking. Hot cocoa and cookies will be served to keep everyone warm.More info

Ridgefield Holiday Stroll, Dec. 2-3

Downtown Ridgefield will host its Annual Holiday Stroll on Friday, December 2 at 6 pm and all day on Saturday, December 3, 2016. There will be horse-drawn carriages, musical performances, children's shows, ice-sculpting and more! Bring the entire family and, in the spirit of community, please remember to Shop Ridgefield for all your gift-giving needs! More info.

Danbury Light the Lights, Dec. 3
Come welcome Santa to CityCenter! Santa arrives Downtown by firetruck when CityCenter Danbury and Mayor Mark Boughton "Light the Lights" on Saturday, December 3, starting at 5pm at Library Plaza. The festivities include a lighted firetruck parade (Rose St. to Elmwood Park and back), carolers, cookies and more! More info.

Redding Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony, Dec. 3
The JRMS and JBHS Select Choirs will perform for this annual tree lighting ceremony on Redding Town Green. Keep an eye out for Rudolph and Frosty. Enjoy Candy Canes & Hot Cocoa! Event runs 4:40PM - 5:40PM. More info.
