Go Green this Halloween!

By Meghan Friedland, Editor/Publisher Macaroni Kid Danbury-Bethel-Ridgefield, CT September 23, 2016
Join us for a Macaroni Kid Halloween Costume Swap on Sunday, October 2 from 2-4 PM in the Maria Parloa Room of the Bethel Public Library (189 Greenwood Ave, Bethel).

Donated costumes need to be dropped off at the library on Saturday, October 1 between 3-5 PM. Those who donate a costume will receive a ticket for a costume of equal or lesser value, and ticket holders will have priority over costume choices between 2-3 PM on Sunday, October 2. The swap is open to the public from 3-4 PM with a $5 donation per costume to benefit the Bethel Children's Library. Solitary accessory donations (i.e. hats,  costume jewelry, wands, etc.) will be accepted as well and will be sold at a small amount ($1-$2 each) with 100% of proceeds to benefit the Children's Library.

Costumes must be in good to excellent condition upon donation. No damage, holes, tears, etc. All donations must be placed on a hanger or wrapped in a clear bag with all parts, with size clearly marked. Macaroni Kid has the right to refuse any donation.

Money raised at the Costumes Swap public sale will be donated to the Bethel Children’s Library. Unclaimed costumes and accessories after public sale will be sold to Once Upon a Child in Danbury with 100% of the sale going to Bethel Children’s Library. Any costumes/accessories not able to be purchased by consignment will be donated to a local charity.
