PET ADOPTION CORNER: Meet LuLu

From PAWS

By Cari-ann Tyszka, Contributing Writer October 17, 2019
Hello Lulu!!

Love Sees With the Heart!  Lulu is a gorgeous white and honey, 3 month old Siberian Husky who came to PAWS as an owner surrender.  Lulu has recently developed glaucoma and is going blind.  Her owner was not prepared for this in a puppy and wasn't able to provide for the cost of her care.

Lulu is in many ways a typical puppy.  She is friendly, playful, energetic and curious.  She loves learning about the world that is new to her and all of its sounds, smells and sensations.  Lulu enjoys the company of other dogs, although she can be a little timid at first.  She will learn to negotiate the world through her other senses.  She can still be a partner for outdoor activities and would appreciate someone who will be able to keep her busy.  Lulu will need work and patience on her training as all puppies do.

PAWS is currently pursuing appropriate medical care for Lulu, and she will be made available for adoption soon.  She is vaccinated, and we will accept applications for her now.  Lulu will do well with an attentive and active family willing to work on her puppy manners, help her learn about the world around her and attend to her needs.  If you're interested in helping PAWS help dogs like Lulu, visit www.pawsct.org. Location is  Norwalk, CT.
