REVIEW & GIVEAWAY: Bounce! Trampoline Sports Danbury

By Tracy Gallagher, Macaroni Kid Publisher Mom, Brewster-Mahopac-Carmel, NY September 23, 2016
Bouncing around my house seems to be a favorite hobby of my kids and it drives me BONKERS. I'm always sending them outside to our trampoline however in the hot weather they only last 5 or 10 minutes and I don't blame them. Bounce! Trampoline Sports in Danbury recently opened their doors and when we were given the chance to check out the newest Bounce in the area we jumped at the chance (pun intended:)).

I decided to invite my brother as well as my niece and nephew to join us for an hour of bouncing fun. Between the two families we had 6 kids from 13 down to 18 months and they all loved it and kept busy for the entire hour. We had all been to another similar place in the next town over last summer and my kids have been to Bounce! in Poughkeepsie so we knew what to expect. I honestly has not taken my littlest one before so she was the only one I was some what concerned about. Would she like it? Was there enough for her to do? Is she big enough since shes a tiny peanut? The answer is YES to all of the above.

The bigger kids really liked Bounce! Extreme best followed by the foam pits with the slack rope and ladder climb. I even heard my 13 year old say several times, this is so much fun and trust me not much gets labeled as fun with him right now. The other kids (3 to 7) were happily going between each of the  different activities and needed little assistance. The baby of the group did just fine in the 5 and under area called Bounce! Junior as did my 3 year old. Warren LOVED to swing on the ball and drop into the foam. Adyson did great on the swing and in the foam pits as well, and just needed some help to get out. I will for sure be taking her and my 3 year old back to their toddler time which is just for kids under 6 when the bigger ones return to school.

I did think $26 for the two younger ones to bounce for an hour was a bit much, especially since they can not go into the main bounce area (it's 6+). Special Bounce! socks were exchanged free since we had ones from another indoor trampoline facility. I did buy a pair for myself ($2) so I could walk onto the trampolines and help the little kids if need be. There was plenty of staff to help, but you know how kids are sometimes they only want mom or dad to help. Secretly, I want to go back on a Friday or Saturday night for Jump N Glow. Now that looks like fun for everyone!! To sign your waiver in advance, Bounce! hours and more information on the fun, please visit their website. And don't forget to tell them you heard about Bounce! from Macaroni Kid!!
